Version: v1.0.0Effective date: October 12, 2026

This is the English version of the Allowance Note Privacy Policy (Korean v1.1.0). If the two versions differ, the Korean version prevails.

App information

Article 1 (Purpose)

This Privacy Policy sets out how ZZARI (developer: Chunchu Kim; the "Company" or "Developer") collects, uses, provides and protects personal information in the children's allowance tracker app "Allowance Note" (the "App"), distributed through Google Play and the App Store.

Article 2 (Your records stay on your device)

Allowance Note has no servers, no sign-up and no login.

The following information that you (a parent or guardian) enter in the App is stored only on your device and is never sent outside it, including to the Company.

  • Child information: name, date of birth (optional), avatar color
  • Allowance records: given/spent, amount, spending category, date, memo
  • App settings: display currency

The Company does not collect this information and has no way to access it. It is not used for ads. Everything is removed from your device when you delete the App.

Article 3 (Personal information collected and how)

1. Collected automatically (ads, from app version 1.1.0)

  • Advertising data (Google AdMob): advertising identifier (Android advertising ID; on iOS, the IDFA only if you allow app tracking), device information (model, OS, app version), IP address, and ad impression and click information
  • Ad consent status: whether users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK and Switzerland consent to personalised ads (Google's consent management tool)

The App does not use any other usage analytics, behaviour tracking or crash reporting tools.

3. How it is collected

  • Automatically through the ad SDK (Google AdMob) while the App runs
  • Provided directly by you when you send an inquiry email

4. Not collected

The Company does not collect:

  • Where applicable law requires retention, it is kept for the required period and then destroyed.

Article 7 (Provision to third parties and outsourcing)

1. Provision to third parties

As a rule, the Company does not provide personal information to third parties without your consent. Child information and allowance records are never sent outside your device.

2. Outside services

The Company uses the following outside service to provide ads. It may process data outside Korea (e.g. in the United States).

3. When the App communicates outside the device

The App communicates outside your device in the following two cases.

  • Ads: Google AdMob (paragraph 2) shows ads and processes the advertising data in Article 3(1).
  • Version check: the settings screen requests a public version information file on the Company's website (https://zzari.co/apps/versions/allowancenote.json) to check for the latest version. No allowance records or child information are sent. As with any internet request, connection information such as your IP address may be recorded in the web server's access logs.

When you tap "Rate the app", "Privacy policy", "Terms of use" or "Contact us", the app store, a web browser or a mail app opens, and any further processing follows that service's policies.

Article 7-2 (Ads and opting out of personalised ads)

From app version 1.1.0, one Google AdMob banner ad is shown at the bottom of the screen. Ad content is limited to the General Audiences (G) rating.

  • Information collected by ad platforms is handled under each platform's privacy policy.
  • On iOS, the App asks whether to allow app tracking on first launch. You can keep using the App if you decline, and the IDFA is not collected in that case.
  • Users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland choose whether to consent to personalised ads on first launch, and can change this at any time in the App's Settings → "Ad privacy settings".
  • You can reset your advertising ID or turn off personalised ads in your device settings.
    • Android: Settings → Google → Ads
    • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking

Article 8 (Children under 14)

The App is for parents and guardians to record their children's allowance on their own device, and is not intended to be used by children directly. Children's names, dates of birth and other details entered by a parent or guardian are stored only on that person's device as described in Article 2. The Company does not collect, view or transmit children's personal information. Ads are shown on the device of the parent or guardian using the App, and child information is not used for ads.

Article 9 (Your rights and how to exercise them)

You may at any time request access to, correction, deletion or suspension of processing of your personal information by contacting us below.

Child information and allowance records are stored only on your device, so you can view, edit and delete them directly in the App. Deleting a child deletes all of that child's records, and deleting the App removes all records. You can opt out of personalised ads as described in Article 7-2.
